OAKVILLE ROTARIANS PRESENT
ACADEMIC AWARDS TO 38 OAKVILLE SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
AT SPECIAL LUNCHEON CEREMONY
(Oakville, ON) Three Oakville
Rotary clubs today presented academic awards valued at nearly
$50,000 to 38 secondary school students who intend to pursue
post-secondary studies in the fall.
The Rotary clubs of Oakville
North, Oakville Trafalgar and Oakville West recognized the
accomplishments of the award recipients at a special Celebration
of Achievement luncheon today at The Oakville Club, which
featured Olympic gold and silver medalist Larry Cain as
guest speaker.
The presidents of the three Rotary
clubs presented academic awards, bursaries and prizes to
the students, all of whom are about to graduate from Oakville’s

and another completing Grade 12 was selected from schools
